Government Grants and Concessions that are Available for Different Situations

Below are a number of government grants and concessions that are currently available for different situations.

Most of them have limits on property value etc so please look at the eligibility requirements.

1. Home Builder Grant - grants up to $25,000 to build a new home.

2. Regional home building boost grant - so in addition to the Home Builder Grant (see above) if you are located in a regional area you may be eligible for an additional $5,000 grant.

3. First Home Owners Grant - a grant of $15,000 to buy or build a brand new home.

4. First Home Stamp Duty Concession - for both established property and land purchases.

5. First Home Loan Deposit Scheme - where you can borrow up to 95% LVR without the cost of Lenders Mortgage Insurance. Limited availability and based on a first come basis.
